It’s Lenten season once again and catholic christians in the Philippines called this Cuaresma or Semana Santa. It’s the time where catholics remember the cruxificion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. During the Lenten season, some filipino catholics flock to Kamay Ni Hesus Shrine in Lucban Quezon. I remember when my family and I went their and attended the healing mass. We also climbed the 292-steps hill and reached the top where the huge shrine of Jesus Christ is located.

After that tiring trek on top of the shrine, my family and I went and dine to Kamayan Sa Palaisdaan Restaurant in Tayabas, Quezon. This restaurant is not hard to find, it’s along the way before you reach kamay Ni Hesus shrine. They serve filipino dishes you will surely crave for.
