It seems that the commentators were a little bit too much focused on shogun's multiple leg kicks. but try looking at the fight statistics on the net and try watching the replay without the audio so that you will not hear the biased comments, then you will clearly see, Lyoto played better and got better shots. and another thing, scoring does not depend on how much your face was torn up, it depends on how effective and accurate you landed your shots. look at the statistics of the shot, lyoto landed shots better.. bro, it was a very close fight but I believe the judges made the right decision. Which make it seem as though shogun is winning. Lyoto won 3 rounds by getting more clean/crisp fighting movements than shogun. Lyoto dodged enough to stop the knockout blow, but gave out enough for the judges to decide unanimously that he had won. Conspiracy theorys my a*s, people just want to see lyoto lose.
