    Helo,
Am I the only one that watched the the Machida -Shogun fight
I am a very big fan of Machida and to say he did enough to win the fight is borderline absurd , I am from the UK and stayed up (with the time change until 6 am) I have been watching UFC since Royce Gracie days and can’t say enough how wrong the decision was , you could even see it in Machida’s face he knew he lost , anyway I watched it on EPSN in which I have a subscription , well I will cancel it tomorrow , shame on you Dana White and the rest of you crooked —–
Hope you are happy but you will definitely loose face over this , I stook up for the UFC over the years but you have now proved to me you are not real , you have proved you are real fakes
    Shame on you Dana White
    P.S. isn’t Dana a girls name?

    I totally agree with you Phil….fkn politics…

This fight was stolen from Shogun. The champ was given a gift and had better be ready to face a very motivated, not to mention angry, Shogun. Hopefully, Phil’s feeling that the UFC managemnt is rigging fights is wrong but when you see a decision like that it makes you wonder. I will give the benifit of the doubt to Dana for now but would like to see the judges justifaction for unanimous decision. Rematch ASAP and hopefully it will be kept out of the hands of the judges. Maybe title matches should go to seven rounds.

sorry to burst your guys’ bubble but dana is not crooked nor was this fight fixed…. dana already came out and said on twitter that they both agreed to fight a rematch, as the decision dit not truly reflect the fight… if anything, it might be an act for increased ratings for a rematch as once machida was supposed to own shogun, the ufc would be afraid there would be noone left to challenge machida, but obviously shogun exposed machida, and downright should have won… but nobody will be satisfied until one of these guys knocks the other one out… my money is on shogun… he was in the axe murderer’s shadow for too long, it is now his time; machida, rashad, rampage, nobody will be able to stop him for awhile… but this machida-shogun rivalry will sure be fun to watch for the next couple years…

I think the ideal fight would be if UFC signed over Cung Le and let him fight Machida. Both prefer stand up, both have amazing strikes and speed, and both are current champions in the light heavyweight division.

This fight was so fixed that I think kimbo can beat machida this crap ain’t nuthin but the wwe fake . Fake as ddana the girl white hahahhahahahahha

  13. By duy, October 26, 2009 @ 1:50 AM

I confess I paid the judges off so Machida can win the fight just so my buddy Mike can lose the dollar he bet me!!! HOLLA

  14. By yo, October 26, 2009 @ 12:02 PM

If you monitor the rounds, you will notice the judges being so biased towards shogun that they don’t stop talking about his strikes. Which make it seem as though shogun is winning. Lyoto won 3 rounds by getting more clean/crisp fighting movements than shogun. Lyoto dodged enough to stop the knockout blow, but gave out enough for the judges to decide unanimously that he had won. Conspiracy theorys my a*s, people just want to see lyoto lose.

“yo”, you are an id*ot… Machidas face was torn up.. his left side destroyed and he could barely walk….Shogun looked untouched. P.S. the announcers are not the judges

  16. By VINOTHECREW, October 28, 2009 @ 12:46 PM

SHOGUN GOT ROBBED. DIEGO SANCHEZ DEFENDED HIS UNDEFEATED RECORD BETTER THAN THAT AND THEY STILL GAVE IT TO B**CH AS* KOSCHECK….MACHIDA LOST AND NOW WE KNOW ALL U GOTA DO IS KICK MACHIDA AND CHOPPED HIM DOWN LIKE A TREE.

bro, it was a very close fight but I believe the judges made the right decision. It seems that the commentators were a little bit too much focused on shogun’s multiple leg kicks. but try looking at the fight statistics on the net and try watching the replay without the audio so that you will not hear the biased comments, then you will clearly see, Lyoto played better and got better shots.

and another thing, scoring does not depend on how much your face was torn up, it depends on how effective and accurate you landed your shots. look at the statistics of the shot, lyoto landed shots better..
