Dora The Explorer Going Skank, Dora The Tweenager

Oh my god, my 5-year-old daughter was sad after she heard the news that Dora the Explorer is getting a makeover. She used to see her as an adventurous child who goes on an exploring trip in each episode of her show. But now Dora will become a fashionista. Mattel and Nickelodeon agreed that Dora needs a new image, an image of a teenager living and shopping in the big city. She’ll also be turned into a fashion doll, a Barbie wannabe with a wide range of accessories. What’s next, Spongebob Square Pants will become a Hunk?

    This is just another example of what greedy corporate marketing stooges will do to fatten their bottom line.
    This was a cute and wholesome character that my kids loved. I will not be allowing them to buy into this trashy make-over. Some of us out here in the real world won’t be manipulated by this kind of decision.

    Next they will tell us that Dora’s “exploring” will include “kissing another girl” and “getting tattoos and piercings”.

    i agree, its sick to do that, i am having a baby now, never let her watch that trash. Hollywood gone to the dogs. Only evil behind hollywood, no morel and no role models either

    Dora always was a skank. This just goes to show that wholesome cartoons are non-existant. Dora ate cookies for breakfast, fed them to Bugga Bugga babies for breakfast, ate a steady diet of junk food, had s*xist subliminal messages implanted in her games, had a Dora Aquapet that looked like balls and c*ck (seriously-google it and look at the image) so what else is new?

    Dora s*cks so bad that it couldn’t ever get better because it never started out good. I hope this horrid show and all the writers drop dead of heart attacks tomorrow.

    That Sponge Bob Hunk thing wasnt that serious. Sponge bob Had “muscles” on a few of his episodes already. Shouldnt u be reviewing things such as “Famiky Guy” and things like that? gosh dora is just getting a makeover. Long Hair and a purse doesnt make u a ***** . it makes u a GIRL. so when ever u have something else negative to say, make sure its about pg-13 stuff. k?
