1966 NCAA Basketball Championship Video

The 1966 NCAA Basketball Championship was one of the greatest game in the history of NCAA tournament. This championship game is most remembered for the all-black starting five of Texas Western defeating an all-white Kentucky team in the championship game. Don Haskins went on the recruiting trail to find the best talent in the land, black or white. 7 blacks and 5 whites made up the legendary 1965-66 Texas Western Miners. They also made a movie entitled “Glory Road” to commemorate this event. Glory Road became a box office number-one in the US grossing $17 million on its opening weekend, yet was only released straight to DVD or just shown on TV in some countries that have no connection to college basketball.
